I liked the night sortie attacks carried out by our fighters... Saw it live in Doordarshan. was breath taking. Flying in pitch black (full IFR in a single seater fighter at just 500ft above ground and at almost 500kmph) then enter hostile territory, identify the target in a pitch black ground, exactly locate the bomb drop zone and release the bomb at the exact time and all along this fly the a/c without autopilot!!!!! thats Military flying fellas.. hats off to these aviators. They flew with their nav lights on so that the VIP's can see them come and fired flares to indicate the weapons release.. else the standard practice is to fly pitch black all lights out while maintaining full radio silence in a close formation into a hostile territory.

Well for the IAF I must say that we have some really awesome pilots out there remember that one time when we had a friendly practice with the USAF and we kicked their ass!
